YOTSYSTEM Computer Systems and Software Designing LLC (YOT System), has been granted its operating licence in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The milestone formalises the group’s global headquarters and opens a new chapter in its mission to digitise the yachting industry.
The licence, issued under the regulatory framework of one of the world’s most forward-looking business environments, allows YOT System to develop technology products, contract with private and public counterparties across the region, engage talent internationally, protect its intellectual property, and scale operations across multiple markets.
Why Abu Dhabi
The decision to establish in Abu Dhabi was not purely administrative. It reflects a long-term bet on a jurisdiction that combines a strong international outlook and a strategic commitment to building the infrastructure of tomorrow’s maritime economy.
The capital of the UAE sits at the crossroads of Europe, Asia and Africa, within a day’s sailing of some of the world’s fastest-growing yachting destinations, from Yas Marina to the Mediterranean hotspots.
Abu Dhabi was selected not only as a jurisdiction, but as a strategic base at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, Africa and the global maritime economy.
A foundation, not a destination
The licence is a legal foundation, but the company’s ambition extends far beyond administrative compliance. YOT System is building three complementary product pillars, all anchored in Abu Dhabi and built for the world:
- A flagship ecosystem platform serving yachts, their owners, crews and guests, with an operating layer bridged to the wider yachting suppliers and partners.
- A maritime data intelligence practice translating vessel telemetry, navigation patterns and regulatory datasets into decision-grade insight for institutional partners.
- An applied AI capability embedded across every user-facing experience and internal process, governed by the company’s publicly available AI Ethics Charter.
What comes next
The company will first go live on the French Riviera and progressively activate additional destinations. Ligurian Coast, Florida Gold Coast, the Red Sea and Singapore have been announced as the next regions of deployment. Each will follow the same delivery model: embedded local teams and operators, connected to a shared technology backbone.
Institutional partnerships remain central to the approach. As the company has stated, impact is treated not as a slogan but as an engineering problem.
